How we help.

Here you can learn about us.

We offer full service banking with the goal to help members build a better financial future. How are we different from a bank?  Jackson County Co-op Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and controlled by our members. Our Board of Directors are members of JCCCU as well as volunteers from the community, elected by our members. Our profits are returned to our members in the form of better rates, lower fees, and improved service.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Jackson County Co-op Credit Union is to provide members with products and services which meet their needs and expectations, while also providing competitive and reasonably priced services and returns on investments.

Vision

The Jackson County Co-op Credit Union is committed to becoming the preferred, primary and comprehensive financial service provider for all of its members.

History

In 1955, twenty-three charter members had a vision for the agricultural community. They wanted to establish somewhere for farmers to deposit money and get loans as needed to carry them through the farming season. Unfortunately, financial resources for the agricultural community were limited at this time. These farmers needed help during their off-season while they waited for their profit after the crops had been harvested. Therefore, the charter members decided to organize and form a credit union to meet their needs.
