Our debit card can help boost your financial health and goals.

Checking account holders at JCCCU may quality for a Visa Debit Card. Just like writing a check, purchases using a debit card

come directly out of your checking account. 

All debit cards have a purchase limit of $1,500 and ATM limits at $500 within a 24-hour period.

- Limits can be raised by JCCCU members' request by calling (812) 523-1630.

Remote Control Cards​ - Manage your debit card by temporarily deactivating, reporting it stolen or reactivating the card.

- Log into your online banking through our mobile app or desktop.

- Go to the Menu and select 'Remote Control Cards.'

- Select the appropriate status for the card you are

needing to manage and click 'Submit.' 

- To finish deactivation, you will need to contact us to receive a new card. 

We offer Instant Issue Debit Cards!

If you are planning to travel out of the state or out of the country, please let us know so we can set your card up for those out of state or country transactions.

Transaction Dispute

You may need to file a debit card dispute if a transaction was authorized by the cardholder but now needs to be disputed due to one of the following reasons. If you have fraudulent debit card transaction, please call us at (812) 523-1630.

A transaction was posted twice:

  • Did you contact the merchant? 

No - Please contact the merchant regarding the duplicate transaction and request a refund.

Yes - If the merchant has agreed to give you credit, you must wait 10 days to allow them to issue your credit. If you do not have your credit within the 10 days, please contact us to file your dispute.

A transaction was posted for an incorrect amount:

  • Did you contact the merchant?

No - Please contact the merchant regarding the incorrect amount and request a refund.

Yes - You must wait 10 days to allow the merchant to issue your credit. If you do not have your credit within the 10 days, please contact us to file your dispute. 

A transaction shouldn't have posted at all:

  • Did you contact the merchant?

No - Please contact the merchant regarding the transaction and request a refund.

Yes - You must wait 10 days to allow the merchant to issue your credit. If you do not have your credit within the 10 days, please contact us to file your dispute. 

A subscription was cancelled but you were still charged:

  • Did you contact the merchant?

No - Please contact the merchant regarding transaction and request a refund.

Yes - You must wait 10 days to allow the merchant to issue your credit. If you do not have your credit within the 10 days, please contact us to file your dispute. 

Merchandise was never delivered/received: 

  • Did you contact the merchant after you expected to receive the merchandise?

No - Please contact the merchant report that the merchandise was never delivered or received and request either a refund or reshipment. 

Yes - You must wait 10 days to allow the merchant to issue your credit. If you do not have your credit within the 10 days, please contact us to file your dispute. 

You returned your merchandise but still have not received your credit: 

  • Has it been 30 days since the return?

No - You will need to wait 30 days from the date of the return.

Yes - Contact the merchant to check the status of your return. If they have received your return and will be issuing a credit, you must wait 10 days to receive the credit. If you don't receive your credit after 10 days, please contact us to file the dispute. Please provide a copy of proof of your return being received.
